Karen Sue Ramey, 52, of Wayne, WV passed away April 1, 2021 at Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne with Rev. Thomas Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne.
She was born August 12, 1968 in Logan, WV a daughter of Perry, Jr. and Carol Sue Aldridge Ramey of Wayne. Karen formerly worked as a department clerk at Hills Department Store and was a member of the Enon United Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Allen Ramey, her grandparents, Perry and Charity Kimbler Ramey, as well as Walter and Brookie Workman Aldridge. In addition to her parents, Karen is survived by three sisters, Debra Lynn Price (John) of Charleston, WV, Charity Ross and Verdella Ramey, both of Wayne; one brother, Perry Ramey, III (Mary) of Huntington; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne. Due to COVID-19 face masks and social distancing will be required.
