Juanita Murray Beck, 91, of 1728 Camelback Trace 17, West Lafayette, died at 11:16 am Monday, March 21, 2003, at Home Hospital. She had been in failing health for four years. Born September 2, 1911, in Elwood, she lived in West Lafayette most of her life. She graduated from Otterbein High school in 1929 and attended Purdue University and Lafayette Business College. She married Lester E Beck in West Lafayette on July 31, 1932. He died May 4, 1992. Mrs Beck was a homemaker she worked for 15 years at Purdue University part-time in various departments. She was a member fo First United Methodist Church, Purdue Women=s Club, Edgewood Club, YWCA, Purdue University Alumni Association, several bridge clubs and Greater Lafayette Health Services Inc. Auxiliary. Surviving are a son, James M Beck (wife: Barbara A) of Aurora, Illinois; and a daughter, Beverly McCollough (husband: Max) of West Lafayette. The Rev Dr James Morin officiating . Interment Dayton Cemetery. Surviving are 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother.
