Robert James Saletzki, 83, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 1:54 a.m. at home with his loving wife and two sons by his side.
Robert was born in Kewanee, IL to the late Frank and Margaret (Mitchell) Saletzki. He lived in Princeton almost his entire life. He was a graduate of Princeton High School, Class of 1956.
He married Charlotte Bevington on September 6, 1959 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Princeton, IL. He made all of her dreams come true in their 61 years of marriage.
He was employed at LCN Closers for 21 years as a Drafting Engineer and another 21 years in Purchasing, retiring May of 1998 with 42 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Margaret (Mitchell) Saletzki, his brother, Donald Paul Saletzki in 1961, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Rozilla Bevington.
