Nora S. Alexander, 98, of 36 Jamestown Street, Randolph, died at 5:25 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1993, in WCA Hospital, Jamestown. She was born May 23, 1895, in Lakeview, NY, a daughter of Earl C. and Anna Corbett Smith. She was married in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Randolph in 1916 to Clarence E. Stronz who died April 1943. In 1962 she married Delano Alexander who died in 1978. Mrs. Alexander was a 1916 graduate of Fredonia Normal School, where she received a teacher's certificate. She was an elementary teacher for 20 years at Franklin Grade School in Wadsworth, Ohio, retiring in 1960. ...
Surviving are four sons...; two daughters...; 23 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a half-sister....
Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by a stepson, John Alexander in 1984, a brother, Robert Smith and a sister, Ann Edmonds.
