Jerome Bauer of Callicoon a retired Dairy farmer and lifetime area resident died at home on Thursday, March 4, 2021. He was 75 years old. Jerome was born in Callicoon December 15, 1945, the son of the late Norman Sr. and Florence McGuire Bauer.
Jerome was a member of Holy Cross Church Callicoon and was a member of Dairyman's League.
Jerome is survived by his brothers Norman Bauer and his wife Diane; Ronald Bauer by his nieces and nephews Chris, Patty, Tim, Kelsey, Valori, Norman and his wife Heidi, their children Dillian and Abigail; Scott Bauer and his wife Lindsay, their children Caleb and Piper; his dear friends Ramona and Robert Lewis; his care giver Paul Tesseyman; and many other friends and relatives.
In addition to his parents Jerome was predeceased by his brother Lyman Bauer and his wife Diane.
Private graveside burial services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery Callicoon at the convenience of the family.
A memorial mass at Holy Cross Church will be held at a later date in May 2021.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Church P.O. Box 246, Callicoon, New York 12723.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home Inc. Callicoon.
