Allan Willian Ashton

Allan Willian Ashton, 87, of Sparks, Nevada, passed away on December 22, 2020.

Allan was born on September 20, 1933, to Leonard and Freida Ashton in Cabool, Missouri. Allan served in the U.S.Army before attending the University of Missouri where he received a B.S. degree in Forestry in 1959. After graduation he accepted a job with the U.S.Forest Service in Idaho. Allan continued his career with the Forest Service until retiring in 1991.

In 1956 he met Marjorie Ann Witt and they married in 1957. Allan and Marjorie had 4 children: Chuck, Jim, Debi, and Terry.

Allan enjoyed the outdoors, both hunting and fishing. Although for the past number of years Marjorie would say Dad was taking his gun for a walk rather than hunting. But his passion was raising and running his Brittany Spaniel dogs. He raised many quality dogs notably champion Lobos Rebel Dogg (Rebel.)
