Holmesville - Thelma Madeline Ball, 70, of Holmesville, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2021 at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg after a period of declining health.

Thelma was born Sept. 14, 1950 in Lancaster, OH to the late Martin and Esther (Mowery) DeLong and was a graduate of Logan High School. She had worked at Darb Snyder Senior Center in Millersburg and had previously made her home on a small farm near Millersburg where she enjoyed caring for her animals that she loved. She enjoyed reading and shopping at thrift stores and was a charter member of the Amazing Grace Baptist Temple in Millersburg.

Surviving are her sons, Simon and Samuel both of Holmesville and her church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Ball in 1999, her parents and an infant sister.

Memorial services will be Thursday, March 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Amazing Grace Baptist Temple, 1150 Massillon Rd., Millersburg with Pastor James Butler officiating. There will be a family graveside service at 10:00 a.m. at Prairie Township Cemetery on Thursday.
