Marvel Arlene Aylor, 69, Houston, Texas, formerly of Springfield, died at 12:46 p.m. Thursday in Cox Medical Center North, Springfield.
She was born Feb. 29, 1924, in Ozark County, the daughter of Oda F. and Tishie Dye Snelson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. June 6, 1966, she was married to Albert Aylor in Liberty, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Albert; a son, Darrell L. Riley, Kingsport, Tenn.; three daughters, Theresa Evette Fox, Clute, Texas, Tandy Aylor and Serena Wilene Tate, both of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Glenda Griffin and Mrs. Elva Parker, both of Springfield.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Clinkingbeard Chapel. Burial will be in Ava Cemetery.
