Bobby was born at Madigan Hospital, Fort Lewis, WA, on January 27, 1960 to Tellas Andrew Hutson and Teruko (Matsuda) Hutson. He was raised in Tillicum, and graduated from Clover Park High School, Lakewood, WA, and Clover Park Technical College, where he studied drafting. He went on to work at the Boeing Company for many years as a technical illustrator.
Bobby had tremendous faith, loved heavy metal music, and had many hobbies and interests, including storm chasing, mushroom hunting, fishing, winetasting, photography, Legos, and driving his car to visit Hard Rock Cafes around the country. More than anything, Bobby loved people. He made friends wherever he went, from the neighborhood to church, from Starbuck's to the many online communities he participated in. He is missed and loved by many friends who's lives he changed just by being himself.
Bobby loved celebrating holidays with family and he loved animals, especially his furry nephew Tundra, who kept him company in the hospital and at home during his final weeks.
Bobby was proud of living in Washington and loved everything about the beautiful pacific northwest, from the rain showers
to his beloved Seahawks, to catching smelt, to the Yakima cherry picking season.
Bobby was survived by his fiance Erin Laura Bennett, his mother Teruko Hutson, brothers Lonnie Hutson (Gail Siegel) and Ralph Hutson (Terri), and nephews Kenneth Hutson, Andrew Hutson, and Jeffrey Hutson. He was preceded in death by his father Tellas Hutson. He will be deeply missed by his family and remembered as a dear and special person. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 28, at Faith Lutheran Church in Tacoma, WA.
