INDIANAPOLIS — Beverly J. Dazey, 60, rural Roann, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002, at the Indiana University Medical Center. She was born on April 15, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio, to Clifford James Allen and Adella (Coon) Eitniear. Her mother survives in Fort Wayne. She married Glenn Dazey on May 18, 1963. He survives. She was a member of the Christian Heritage Church, Kokomo, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Wabash, and the American Legion Auxiliary, Laketon. She was a carrier for The Plain Dealer for 12 years. Also surviving are a son, Todd Dazey, Wabash; two daughters, Tina Hapner and Trixy Dazey, both of North Manchester; six brothers, Rick Eitniear, Fort Wayne, and Dale Allen, Jim Allen, Vernon Allen, Billy Allen and Gary Allen, all of Waco, Texas; two sisters, Barbara Cox and Janice Barber, both of Waco, Texas; and nine grandchildren. One daughter and three brothers are deceased. Services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester. Pastor J.P. Freeman and Lee Tankersly will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church. Preferred memorials are to the Beverly Dazey Family Fund.
