Mrs. Lucinda M. Shoemaker, 83, lifelong resident of the Madry community in Barry County, died Sunday at 2 a.m. in the Elsey Rest Home in Monett. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Elmer Ballay, Monett; two sons, J.J. Shoemaker, Auroa, R. 2; and Lloyd Shoemaker, Monett; three brothers, W. C. Seamans, Fort Smith; and Albert and Jesse Seamans, Oceano, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, and several great-grandhildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Marsh Chapel in Aurora. The Rev. Onis Biellier will officiate. Burial will be in Clay Hill Cemetery.
