Davis, Jane
1816 – 1895
Jane was the wife of William Davis, both born in Wales, and immigrated with him on the ship "Alabama" in 1838. The couple settled in Shaler Township and had at least 7 children: Mary Jane, Ann, Adeline, Margaret, Charlotte, Sarah and William.
After William's death she lived on Butler Street in Etna with son William.
She died in Etna. Date of her death taken from the obit in the "Herald", a local newspsper. It stated that she died on Wednesday, and the burial was Nov 23rd, a Saturday.
