Jill A. Shook, 73, of Muse, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
She was born March 9, 1947 in Canonsburg, a daughter of Raymond and Amelia Krieger Shook.
Jill was a very active member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Canonsburg. Prior to her retirement, she worked as an elementary teacher at several elementary schools in the Canon McMillan School District. She was a member of the Canonsburg Business and Professional Women's Organization. Jill volunteered for the Community Scholarship Foundation of CanonMcMillan. She was proud of being a part of her community, and was an active member of numerous civic and social organizations in Canonsburg.
Surviving are her niece and godchild, Raquel Gilpin, of Canonsburg; her niece, Cherisse Sachs, of Cranberry Twp., her nephew, Ralph (Noemi) Abbondanza, of Herndon, Virginia; great nephew, Aaron Gilpin, and great nieces, Aaliyah Gilpin, and Isabella Abbondanza. She will be sorely missed by her precious, furry companion, Harley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond C. Shook, Jr..
