Robert "Bob" Adsit, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 8, 2021. He had a Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and enjoyed a long career of community organizing and philanthropy. Bob retired from CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions as vice President of Planning with over 20 years of service. He was a loving steward of Springdale's 400 year old Temple Oak and faithful member of Holy Cross Parish.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Maryen Adsit and brother Walter. Bob is survived by his wife, Sheila; daughter, Rebecca Parks; stepchildren Lisa Sauce, Joel Diederich, Amy Jost, Carrie Blankenbaker, and Chris Diederich; two grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and two great granddaughters. Bob is also survived by sister, Deborah and brothers, Fred and Thomas.

Memorial service to be held at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on wheels of Central Indiana.
