She was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Hilda Charlotte Huenke and her Brother, Johnny (John W. Huenke, Jr.).
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Robert J. Miles; her Daughters Karen Fisher (Terry) & Kathy Pezok (Leeon) and Son, Norman Miles, as well as her nieces Donna Santangelo (Andre) & Linda Meers, Sister-in Law Margaret Healy & family, 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Born October 10, 1944 in Philadelphia, Joan graduated from Abington High School in 1962 and earned a B.A. Degree in Education from East Stroudsburg University in 1966.
In August 1969, she married her favorite "good guy" and settled in Hatboro.
She was an Educator, a Volunteer Paramedic, a Volunteer Librarian, an "amateur" Genealogist, an historic researcher, a devoted Mom , an involved Sister, loving Daughter, great Friend and cherished Wife.
You are invited to join in Celebrating her precious life on Tuesday February 2 (public welcome) 6-8 PM and/or Wednesday February 3, (public welcome ) 10-11 AM, followed by- a brief service at Decker-Givnish Funeral Home, Warminster. The Procession will depart at approximately Noon to escort Joan to her resting place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
