George Finis Bell, 85, Greenfield, Missouri, passed away in the Primrose Place after a short illness.

He was born to James H. Bell and the former Clara E. Davis. George was a member of the Greenfield United Methodist and Presbyterian Church.

He taught business education in the Greenfield (Missouri) R-IV School system for many years. He was married to second grade teacher, Alberta Bell, she preceded him in death in 1990.

George is survived by his nephews, Dr. John Crighton, Springfield, Missouri; Ronald McCloskey, Bellvue, Nebraska; Keith Estep and Raymond Estep and his wife Beth, all of Greenfield, Missouri; his nieces, Dr. Carolyn Crighton Fricke, Austin, Texas and Joyce Hillier, Springfield, Missouri, and a brother in law, Earl McCloskey, Omaha, Nebraska and a sister in law, Mary Helen Owen, Springfield, Missouri.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday with the Rev. George Gohn officiating under the direction of Klinger Morturary of Springfield, Missouri.
