Harry Ray Alden, 78, of Lake Ariel, Pa., formerly of Nutley, on January 7, 2003.

Harry Ray Alden. Barbara and Ray raised their six children in Nutley, where they lived for many years. Barbara is survived by her six children, Marcia (Ray) Napolitano, Mary (Steve) Johnston, Peggy (Ken) Grimshaw, James (David DeSmith) Alden, Judi (Mike) Chastain, Sarah (Dave) Sorensen, as well as her loving niece and "unofficial" sixth daughter, Chris (Fred) Czerwinski. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Molly Rose, Katie, Kelly, Jessica, Paul, Katherine, Michael, Samantha, Matthew, Jack, Taylor and Beth, as well as seven great-grandchildren, Everett, Elliott, Robyn, Mia, Kasper, Frankie, and Wilbur.

Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel, Pa. Service 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John's Episcopal Church, Hamlin, Pa. A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Sunday in Grace Episcopal Church, Nutley, N.J.
