Janet was born June 25, 1947 in Mansfield to Betty and Louis Beal. A life-long resident of
Mansfield, Janet graduated from St. Peter's High School in 1965. She was a member of St. Peter's
Catholic Church, Catholic Newcomers Club, Beta Sigma Phi Social Sorority, and the Richland
County Democrat Executive Committee. Janet enjoyed her loving family and friends. Her hobbies
included casino slots, playing Word Blitz on Facebook and spending time with her beloved grand
puppies, Champ and Kobe.
Janet was adored by her family and is survived by her husband of 46years, Judge Frank Ardis, Jr.;
daughters Dawnielle Ardis and Allison (Bill) Furbee; brother-in-laws Aldo Ardis, Luciano (Carol)
Ardis and Robert(Coleen Robinson) Ardis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, including a
special cousin Barbara Windsor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a loving sister-in-law Catherine Ardis.
Friends may call at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 60 S. Mulberry Street, on Thursday from5-7pm. A
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00amFridaywith Rev. Gregory Hite officiating. Burial will follow
in Mansfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pat Kracker Breast Cancer Fund, the
Msgr. Edward C. Dunn Foundation or the Richland County Humane Society
