Ryan James Huggins, age 22, of Evansville, Ind., died Saturday, March 24, 2007, at St. Mary's Medical Center due to an automobile accident. Ryan was a 2004 graduate of Harrison High School and he worked for Evansville Garage Doors. He loved his cousins and had a close relationship with all of them. He loved Texas Hold'em and stockcar racing. Ryan was an organ donor. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Debra (Waters) Huggins Chase and her husband, Nick, of Evansville, Ind.; sister, Ashley Huggins of Evansville; half siblings, Madaline and Christian Huggins; grandmother, Mary Viars of Evansville; fiancee, Lindsey Robbins of Evansville; his dog, Max; and 13 aunts, Lucille Shehorn, Beverly Carwile, Nancy McCarty, Mary Scarbrough, Carla Davis, Carol Morris, Kelly Waters, Theresa Kirk and Cathy Russell, all of Evansville, and Linda Glad, Diddle Reed and Kim Johnstone, all of Illinois; 5 uncles, Jim Waters, Brent Waters, Perry Waters and Danny Waters, all of Evansville, and Joe Waters of Maryland; 56 cousins; and a host of close friends including T.J. McCarty and Isaac Duff. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald (Red) Huggins, and his grandparents, Dolly and Libby Waters. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue, with Reverend John Zeigler officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
