His parents are former residents of the Santa Ynez Valley and both are students at Santa Barbara City College in Santa Barbara. During his short life, Tristan enjoyed visiting with family and friends, playing with his cousins, discovering what life was all about, being at the beach, and taking long walks with his parents. He smiled early, began to laugh within a few weeks and was constantly striving to learn about everything he could during his short but memorable stay. He was very observant and wanted to be a part of every family activity, which made for many happy memories and photos during family gatherings.
Tristian is survived by his parents, Goleta; his grandparents, Bill and Debby Bebernes, Solvang, and Lynn and Irene Jones, Buellton; his great-grandparents, Kenneth and Beverly, Bebernes, Solvang; and aunts, uncles and cousins, including Rod, Mike and Jenna Bebernes, all Solvang; Deirdre Jones, Lauren Velarde, and McGarren Jones, all Buellton; Christian and Tara Jones, Lansing, Michigan; Aaron, Gretchen (Jones), Madisyn and Tabatha Graham, Santa Barbara; Parker and Heather Jones, La Grande, Oregon; Taylor and Nicole Jones, Goleta; and Ben and Ashley (Jones) Haug, Summerland.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept 22, at the Oak Hill Cemetery, 2560 Baseline Avenue, Ballard, at 11 a.m. under the direction of Bishop Peter Haws, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Following the services, friends and family will gather for a Celebration of Life at the home of Bill and Debby Bebernes in Solvang.
Donations can be made to the Tristan D. Bebernes Fund at Valley Oaks Bank, Solvang.
