Rittman -- Brooklynn Dawn Adcox, age 26, of Rittman, passed away on Tuesday evening, December 15, 2020, as the result of a car accident.

Brook was born on December 10, 1994, in Barberton, Ohio, to Candy Potter and the late John Adcox and attended Rittman City Schools with the class of 2013.

Brooklynn was a great mom, and loved her babies dearly. She was a fun, caring, and loving girl who was looked up to by her brothers and sister. She was a tomboy at heart, and enjoyed all sorts of outdoor activities, such as riding four-wheelers, camping, and strapping on her boots and her camouflage. She also enjoyed scrapbooking and volunteering at the school to help plan parties for her kids.

Surviving are her mother and father, Candy and Randy Potter, of Rittman; her three children, Sophea Lucas, Aliyah Lamphear, and Wesley Lamphear; three siblings, Nick, Alex, and Kristen Potter, all of Rittman; grandfather, Mark Pamer of Massillon; grandmother, Bonnie Pamer of Wadsworth; grandfather, Cecil Potter of Wadsworth; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Adcox, and her grandmother, Judy Potter.

Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm on Monday, December 21, 2020, at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, with Pastor Avery Shorter officiating. Burial will take place privately at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth at a later date.

Visitors are asked to wear masks, practice social distancing, and adhere to posted signs and spacing limitations. Seating may be limited.

Instead of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses, via the funeral home’s website, www.gillmanfuneralhome.com. Any excess funds raised will be returned to the family to help with raising Brooklynn’s children.
