well, we call her granny, only grandparent i can remember. i am her youngest grand child, now 47. she is dearly missed by all who knew her. she passed away when i was 10 years old, but still now i can remember going to her house. only a few fond memories in my childhood, and they were mostly at grannies house. Married to William Phillips, 2 children arrived from this union. Paul and Charlotte, 6 grandchildren, Paulette, Em, Ed, Scott, Vivian, Doyle.Louisa was one of 5 children of Lyle England and Emma Kurt Hannah. She maried William E. Phillips. During the 1940's they moved to Murfreesboro until William was in a bad car wreck in Nashville in 1946. He was brain damage and had to live at Central State Hospital for the rest of his life. Louisa moved back to Winchester by herself to be close to family. She would go often to Nashville to see her husband and take him clean clothes and "goodies" that he needed. She worked hard all of her life and died in 1972.
