Frank George Chapman, 81, of Rossville passed away, Tuesday, December 15, 2020.
He was a life-long resident of Rossville and of the Baptist faith. Frank worked at Modern Maid for over 20 years, Cannon South East for 24 years, and enjoyed fishing and watching Alabama Crimson Tide football.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Eleanor Parson Chapman; siblings, Agnes Shavers, Cleo Baty, Faye Weldon, W. S. Chapman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Ellen Payne Chapman; children, Mary Cope, Lloyd (Vickie) Chapman, Mitchell (Lisa) Chapman, Michael Chapman, all of Rossville, Georgia; sister, Florence (Pete) Hester; grandchildren, Terry Ray, Austin, Morgan, Ashley, Zack, Gracie, Brandon, Michael, Chris, Cole; 16 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephew.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Brother Harold Helton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Tennessee ~ Georgia Memorial Park.
