Freddie Joseph Clement, 78 quietly took his journey home to be with Jesus on December 2, 2020. He was a native of Thibodaux, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Chief Warrant Officer 2 Freddie Clement served his country in the war zones of both Korea and Vietnam. He was the humble recipient and of the Bronze Star and other meritorious accommodations. He was a fervent patriot to the end. He is survived by his children; daughter, Casey (Kim) Guidry and sons, Kevin Nelton, Chad (Karen) Clement, Colin (Brandy) Clement, Cody (Rachael) Clement; sister, Ferdie Ledet, and brother Claude (Eloise) Clement. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Dominique Clement; parents, Marie Navarre and Claude Clement, and sister, Claudia Clement. He was proud grandfather of sixteen grandchildren. A true mentor and friend, he never gave up on anyone. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home- Gonzales on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 1pm to 5pm and continue on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 10am until 11am Funeral Services. Burial at Louisiana National Cemetery with full military honors to follow. Freddie being a dedicated patriot. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project
