Robert retired from the U.S. Navy. The last ten years of his life, he suffered with Parkinson's Disease and dementia. He was a member of the Delta American Legion Post #373. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, model trains and woodworking.
Left to cherish his memory are his significant other and caregiver of 20 years, Judy Miller; sons: Robert C. Smart, Jr. and Christopher A. He is no longer suffering. May he rest in peace.
P.S. Robert is the one in jeans holding his velcro dog, Boo Radley.
