Joseph R. Marth, 87, of Houston, died Sunday, December 6, 2020 in his home.

He was born April 7, 1933 in Houston, a son of Rudolph and Anna Jester Marth.

Mr. Marth was retired from the Fort Pitt Bridge Works where he had worked for over 40 years.

He was an avid fisherman and recycler.

On July 29, 1955, he married Bonnie Lee Benard who passed away March 19, 2014.

Surviving are four children, Terry Marth (Mary Anne) of Eighty Four, Jody Kosharsky (John) of Houston, Tammy Kelley (Mike) of Washington and Joseph R. Marth Jr. (Patricia) of Houston; a sister, Annabelle Ondrick of Houston; 13 grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two sisters, Sarah Backner and Wilma Marth; and two brothers, Rudolph Marth and Charles Marth.

All services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave, Houston, PA 15342.
