AGE 33 YEARS
Whitney Leigh Collings of Lynnfield, passed away December 3, 2020 unexpectedly. Beloved daughter of Linda (Houghton) Collings and the late Thomas Collings. Dear sister of Devin Thomas Collings. Cherished granddaughter of the late Arthur and Lorraine Florentino and Harold and Agnes Collings. Devoted niece of Arthur, Mark and Keith Florentino, Mary Merritt and the late Donna Mullett.
Ever since Whitney was a little girl she enjoyed being around people and her love for life and boundless energy led her to excel in soccer, cross country running and cheering on her classmates as a cheerleader during her early school years.
Whitney loved entertaining, theater and listening to music and she was also an accomplished pianist.
Whitney attended Fitchburg State College and Salem State College and focused her studies on business courses with a minor in physics. Whitney helped pay for her education by bartending at various Boston fine dining establishments.
Later in life Whitney discovered that her appreciation for others and an innate ability to relate to them and understand their needs enabled her to enjoy a successful career in sales and marketing.
Funeral Mass Celebrating Whitney's Eternal Life in Our Lady of Assumption Church, 17 Grove St., Lynnfield.
Interment: Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
