Bill was a true Pittsburgher and an avid Steelers fan. He was the definition of hard work. Bill was a longtime maintenance man at Catholic schools in the Brookline neighborhood in the South Hills of Pittsburgh: St. Pius X School, which merged into Brookline Regional Catholic School in 1996, changed its name to St. John Bosco Academy in 2014, and closed in 2019.
Bill Nicholas Ballas passed away on November 25, 2020, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his children, his grandchildren, his siblings, and his sister-in-law. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife and by his parents.
