BAXTER WOMAN DIES
IN HOSPITAL HERE.
Baxter Springs, Kan., Nov. 25.— Mrs. Ruth Mae Barr, 31 years old, died at 10:05 o'clock this morning at Freeman hospital in Joplin following a major operation. Mrs. Barr had been in ill health five weeks but her condition had not been regarded as serious. She attended an operetta at the school Tuesday night. She was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning.
She was born in Anderson May 6. 1907, and attended school there, coming to Baxter Springs with her parents In 1923. She was graduated from the Baxter Springs high school and was married to Glenn Barr here December 24, 1925.
She was a member of the First Christian church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Jimmie, Donald and Glenna Dell, and her mother, Mrs. John Mitchell, all at the family residence, 2005 East avenue, and a sister, Mrs. Roberta McMains of St. Paul, Kan.
The body was brought to the Harvey chapel here.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the First Christian church.
Burial will be in Hill Crest cemetery near Galena.
