About 1970, she went to work for MHMR. After retiring from the state around 2000, she moved to Grand Saline to take care of her parents. Linda moved to Lubbock in 2013.
She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Slaton and loved fishing, playing cards, and spending time with her grand kids. She was also a Texas Tech and Dallas Cowboy fan.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tim Walters.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Rhonda McClellan and her husband, Todd of Lubbock, her son, Drew Pylant and his wife, Jennifer of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter on the way.
