William Barricklow Dies At Hillsboro
William D. Barricklow, 74 of Coffeen, died at 7:10 o'clock Friday morning at Hillsboro Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Indiana July 23, 1874, a son of William and Elizabeth (File) Barricklow. He was reared and educated in Montgomery County and for a number of years was engaged in farming in the Coffeen community. For a time he also resided in Texas.
On June(typo s/b Jan) 23, 1908 he was married to Kittie McKnight who survives him and resides in Texas. Besides his widow he leaves a son Eugene Barricklow of Dallas, two sisters Mrs John Wright of Decatur and Mrs. Oel Snider of Coffeen and a brother James H. Barricklow also of Coffeen. Four brothers and 1 sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Whitmyer Funeral Home in Coffeen. Rev. Brown of Decatur as the officiant. Burial was made in Glendale Cemetery near Fillmore.
