OBITUARY: William Calvin Murley, age 39, of Norma, Tenn., died April 7, 1995, at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tenn. Born in LaFollette, Tenn., June 26, 1955, he was the son of the late Earl John and Gladys Lawson Murley. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers: Jeffrey Earl Murley and James Daniel "J.D." Murley. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by two daughters: Jamie Lynn Murley and Jessica Dawn Murley, both of Oneida; three brothers: John Lee Murley and wife, Bonnie, of Norma; Jerry Murley and wife, Nancy of Huntsville, and Joseph Murley and wife, Jannetta of Oneida; one sister-in-law, Fayola Murley of Huntsville, a special uncle and aunt: John F. Keeton and Opha of Huntsville, other aunts: Ruth Day of Huntsville, Neva Lowe and Frankie June Phillips, both of Oneida, and Jo Ann Kirby of Huntsville; several special nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted April 10,1995, at the West-Murley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Pennington and Rev. Roger Cecil officiating. The Lloyd Family sang. Interment followed in the Norma Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Jimmy Lamson, Roger D. Sexton, Keith Murley, Allen D. Austin, Larry Sexton and Luther Pennington. West-Murley Funeral Home of Oneida was in charge of arrangements.
