Martha Ruth Sexton Jones, 50, of Rt. 3, Oneida, died late Friday evening, April 8, 1994, at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. She was born in Norma, Tenn., on November 9, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Leonis Sexton and Lucille Sexton of Norma. She was preceded in death by her father and two infant brothers. She was a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, William H. "Bill" Jones of Oneida; and three daughters: Darlene Adkins Sexton and husband, Mike, of Oneida; Cheryl Adkins Strunk and husband, Chester, of Fairview; and Sherri Jones Allen and husband, Robbie, of Straight Fork community; one son, Brian Jones and wife, Norma, of Robbins; seven grandchildren: Gretta Sexton, Aleisha Sexton, Chesty Strunk, Amber Strunk, Chris Allen, Chad Allen, and Brian Jones Jr.; seven brothers: Rex Sexton and wife, Barb, of Brookville, Ohio; Delmer Sexton and wife, Wilma, of Oneida; Estle Ray Sexton of Brookville, Ohio; Rev. Larry Sexton and wife, Nancy, of Norma; Dewaine Sexton and wife, Tracy, of Knoxville; Roger Sexton and wife, Carol, of Norma; and Dennis Sexton and wife, Debra, of Jacksboro, Tenn.; two sisters: Deloris Cook and husband, Donald, of Helenwood; and Cathy Marcum of Oneida. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Funeral services were held Monday at the Morning Star Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Day and Rev. David Walker officiating. The Morning Star Baptist Church Choir and the Faith Gospel Singers sang. Burial was in the Norma Cemetery. Pallbearers were Brian Jones, Rex Sexton, Delmer Sexton, Estle Ray Sexton, Rev.
