David B Cheney, 64, North Rd , Sunapee, died Jan 8 at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, Hanover He was born May 19, 1914, in Warner, the son of Harley E and Adrianna (Watson) Cheney and had resided in Sunapee for the past 24 years. Mr Cheney was employed as the custodian at the Sunapee Elementary School. Survivors are his wife, Ethel (Little) Cheney Sunapee, three sons, Harley Cheney, Sunapee, Chester Cheney, Bowdoinham, Maine, and George Cheney, Newport, two daughters, Elva Palmer and Betty Ansart, both of Sunapee 10 grandchildren, one great great grandchild, a brother Paige Chaney, Portland Maine; nieces and nephews Funeral services will take place at 2 p m Jan 11 at the Newton Bartlett Funeral Home, with the Rev David Svenson, pastor of the Community United Methodist Church Sunapee, officiating.
