..Robert Good worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR)as a passanger brakeman and conductor. He worked mainly the Altoona-Pittsburgh run, but I probably didn't know all of his runs. Dad took me with him once. Mom packed my lunch along with my dad's. I remember the train rounding the Horseshoe Curve after dad announced to the passangers, "Ladies and Gentleman, If you look out to my left, you will see the world famous Horseshoe Curve.

Itinerary of residences:
Born in Wallaceton, Clearfield County in 1913
City resided in 1935: R?
Clearfield County
City R.?
May have lived in Wallaceton in 1939 where daughter Shirley was allegedly born at Philipsburg Hospital.

1940 Census:
Pennsylvania,
Cambria County
Johnstown, Pa
726 Meade St
spouse, Eleanor, age 20
daughter, Shirley, age 0, born June, 1939
son, Robert born September, 1940

...Son Robert born in 1940. Born in Clearfield County or Cambria County? Some mixed information. May have gone to his parents home in Wallaceton for the birth of his son. Need more information. Son claims that he was born at Philipsburg General Hospital but census shows Robert and Eleanor living in Johnstown in 1940. Also I have seen a photo of Bobby, as a baby at least 6 months old, sitting in a yard in Johnstown with a large ball. The photo was owned by Ruby (Bob) Overman and she told me once that Robert and Eleanor were their next door neighbors in Coopersdale (Johnstown). Sadly, I don't have the photo and probably never will...
..Sometime between 1940 and 1946 lived in Juniata (Altoona, Pa.) Blair County.
..Son Barry was born in 1944. when parents were living either in Juniata (Altoona) or 1209 6th Avenue, Altoona. I believe he was born at Altoona hospital but that is a guess. I have a photo of Bob and Eleanor standing outside their residence on 6th Avenue with just their 2 oldest children, but that doesn't mean that Barry wasn't born yet. He may have just been born or still quite young.
..before 1946 until about 1955. Robert Good lived at 1209 6th Avenue where daughters Joanne and Patricia and infant son were born at home. New son died after birth due to being dropped on head.. no help available. ((Patricia and infant boy were twins. We have him listed as James Paul Good, but I believe that he was never named. No birth or death certificates can be found. I (as a child) gave him the name of Jimmy Paul trying to match twin names.. Patty and Paul or Jimmy and Jeanie as my mother told me that she was going to name them either or.. I think Jimmy Paul was just easier for me to say; but now people will argue with me that that was his real name.. I don't think so; I need proof. I don't think that he was ever named. My aunt said that she thought that he was named Patrick. Jimmy Paul's maternal grandfather, Fred Marshall, from Johnstown took his remains to Wallaceton, the home of his paternal grandparents. His paternal grandfather, Wilson Good built him a little white casket and his paternal grandmother, Minnie Good planted a bush where he was buried, His grave was unmarked at Reidy Cemetery in Wallaceton for 50 years until brother Bob bought him a headstone with the name James Paul on it. Well, that's fine.. you can say that he was named by his brothers and sisters; no law against that and definitely no harm.))
.. Early in 1955 (Robert Good)moved to 414 3rd Street where he left his family shortly after.
..He then lived in back 15th Street in Juniata, also known as Spook Hollow Road. The address was RD 1, Box 506A, Altoona until addresses were changed with the introduction of the zip codes. His address was changed to RD 3, but he did not move. He lived there until his death at Altoona General Hospital. Miss you dad.
