Born March 29, 1896, at Pineville, whe was the daughter of the late John and Jane Ford Tendry.
Mrs. Adkins was a member of the Coon fork Church of God at Key Rock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Adkins and a son, Aulda Adkins, both in 1966.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. harry (Marie) Halsey of Beckley, and Mrs. Ray (Edna) Phillips of Pineville; two sons, Clyde Adkins of Gibraltor, Mich.; and Harold Adkins of Fairfax, VA.; a brother, Oscar Pendry of florida; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 11:a.m. in the Coon Fork Church of God with the Rev. Roy Lester officiating. Burial will follow in the Palm Memorial Gardens in Matheny.
