Vivian L. Crane, 85, Clarksville, formerly of Georgetown, died Thursday, March 29, at Wedgewood Healthcare Center in Clarksville.

A native of New Albany, born Sept. 26, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Flora Tyler Frentz.

She was a retired teletype operator for the Louisville Police Dept.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Crane.

Survivors include a daughter, Dolores Welch Pollard of Elizabeth; a brother, Austin Frentz of Orleans; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral was Monday, April 2, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home in New Albany with burial in Beth Haven Cemetery in Louisville.
