LaGrand Larsen, 83, of Richfield, Utah, passed away September 6, 2007, at his home in Richfield. He was born April 9, 1924, in Richfield, Utah, to Christian and Amanda Mary Olsen Larsen. He married Stella Fergus (1926-2000) on July 25, 1948, in Jackson, Wyoming. She preceded him in death on April 4, 2000.
LaGrand was a member of the Red View Riders riding club. He also served in the Navy during WWII and served as President of Union at Georgia Pacific. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with his family there. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his family, Anita (Chuck) Lipsey, Richfield; Tia (Tim) Trujillo, Richfield; Tesha Lipsey, Richfield; Sonja (Brett) Nowers, Elsinore; Bronson and Jesse Nowers, Elsinore; Vicki (Alan) Hurst, Richfield; Joey (Darrin) Sharp, Aurora; there three children; Shaney, Caden and Saxon Hurst. He is also survived by his daughter Vicki (Gerry) Hunt and other granddaughters include Lisa Hunt, Julie (Cade) Tebbs - their kids Cristian Hernandez, Chayce Hernandez and Jerzi Tebbs and Connie (Charles) Allen - and their kids Dale Barney, Ashlin Hunt, & Savanna Allen
He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella; parents; and all his siblings. Funeral services will be held on Monday September 10, 2007, at 11:00 a.m.in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 S. 100 W. in Richfield. Burial will be in the Richfield Cemetery with Military Rites by the V.F.W. Sevier Post #5050.
