George LONG is my ggg-grandfather. He is of German ancestry. His surname was originall LANG, but was anglicized to LONG.

Around 1827, he married Anna Maria DECK (1806-1871). They had fourteen children:

6. John D. LONG b: 12 Feb 1837 in Stouchsburg, Berks County, PA
7. Henry LONG b: 10 Feb 1839 in PA
8. Mary A. LONG b: 25 Jul 1840 in PA
9. George LONG b: 3 Nov 1841 in Madisonburg, Miles Twp., Centre Co., PA
10. Daniel LONG b: ABT 1843 in PA
