Writer. José Cadalso y Vázquez de Andrade was a Spanish Colonel of the Royal Spanish Army, author, poet, playwright and essayist, one of the canonical producers of Spanish Enlightenment literature. He is kwnon by his works "Los eruditos a la violeta," "Noches lúgubres" and "Cartas marruecas."
