James E. Baker, age 38 passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. He was born in Thomasville, GA on August 28, 1982 to Lex Baker and Wanda "Jan" Ennis. He had spent most of his life in Glennville, before moving to Tallahassee, FL. 10 years ago. James was a very talented artist who could draw most anything. In his spare time, he loved drawing, woodworking, fishing and spending time in the outdoors. He is preceded in death by his father, Lex Baker.

He is survived by his wife, Brandy Baker of Tallahassee, FL; children, Levi Baker of Tallahassee, FL and Lily Baker of Tampa, FL; mother, Jan (Bruce) Merrill of Tallahassee; step-mother, Anita Thompson of Claxton; siblings, Beverly (Joseph) Gamalero of Tallahassee and Jeff Baker of Tallahassee; step-brother Canaan Thompson of Claxton; nieces and nephews, Jordan Baker, Natalie Baker and Alora Gamalero all of Tallahassee. Also survived by numerous other relatives.

Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00pm Monday October 12, 2020 at Bay Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
