Grace Eulala Aaron, 98 of Herrin, formerly of Johnston City, passed away at 10:32 a.m., Monday, September 28, 2020 at Herrin Hospital.

Grace was born on November 19, 1921 in Omaha, Illinois to Allie Claude and Beulah (Neal) Campbell.
She married Fred Lee Aaron in 1941. Together they shared 41 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1982.

Grace was a 1940 graduate of Herrin High School. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her sister and family. She loved animals. Her children were her pride and joy.

Survivors include her children, D. Aaron of Herrin, B. (Toni) Aaron of Herrin, F. Aaron of Charleston, SC., and L. Aaron of Citra, FL.; sister, Ruby of Sherman, TX.; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Gwendolyn Aaron; two brothers, Allie Campbell Jr. and infant William Walter Campbell; and her little dog, Tinkerbell.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 5th, 2020 in Herrin City Cemetery.
