George was a Private in the US Army. Stationed in Hawaii at the time of his death, he fell in a gully according to this death certificate. The army shipped his body to San Francisco and then to New York, for a military funeral at Cypress Hill National Cemetery.

Before joining the army George worked in a Mill. He never married or had children. George was the oldest son of the family. He was predeceased by his mother. He left his dad and 9 siblings at his death. Today George has many nieces and nephews.
