Bobbie grew up in Houston and she confessed a hope in Christ and an early age. She attended Lucky Junior High School and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She worked numerous jobs; for several years she was a school bus driver in Houston, a truck driver, and a nurse's aide. Bobbie had a marriage to Willie Lee Ball. She lived in Buena Park, California for several years and later moved to Austin to be a caregiver for her cousin. She was a caring person, always willing to help.
