Bobbie grew up in Houston and she confessed a hope in Christ and an early age. She attended Lucky Junior High School and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She worked numerous jobs; for several years she was a school bus driver in Houston, a truck driver, and a nurse's aide. Bobbie had a marriage to Willie Lee Ball. She lived in Buena Park, California for several years and later moved to Austin to be a caregiver for her cousin. She was a caring person, always willing to help. She enjoyed singing and loved to sing God's praises, especially old hymns. She joined Greater Saint John Baptist Church on January 17, 2010 where she served faithfully. She attended Sunday School, was an usher, drove the church van, and the Pastor's aide. She was ordained a deaconess on September 14, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her son, Sammuel Ray Ball, and her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Robert Columbus Ball; daughter, Charles Etta Ball; brother, Leroy White, Jr.; grandchildren, Sierra, Sam II, Sheyanne, and Robinica; great-grandchildren; niece, Yupine' White; nephew, Dionate White; cousin, Nancy Thompson; relatives, Regina Harthway and Judy Baldwin; special daughter, Jane Fowler; Greater Saint Johns Baptist Church members and a host of friends.
