Annie DeWade Brown was born on January 31,1904, in Eldorado, Oklahoma to Charles Alexander Brown (1877-1957) and Mary Walter Lewis (1882-1955). Annie’s parents were pioneer residents of Eldorado.
Annie married Charley Madison Walker (1887-1958) on June 21, 1934, in Mangum, Oklahoma. They had one child (Charles Eugene Walker, 1940-1995) during their marriage.
Annie was a teacher in the Eldorado and Midway school systems for 13 years and she was a member of the Baptist church.
She died of cancer on July 28, 1955, at the age of 51, in Vernon, Texas after having been sick for one year. Annie was buried in Eldorado, Oklahoma at the Eldorado Cemetery.
