He was born on March 21, 1940 in Newbern, TN, to the late Johnny Berl Pace and the late Julia Lounettie Carroll Pace. Charles was a retired farmer and was a member of Finley Baptist Church.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2017 at Finley Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Dorothy Pace of Finley; two daughters, Melinda Pace and Constance Pace, both of California; four step-daughters, Patricia Walton of Dresden, Joann Thompson of Churchton, Ivy Muncrief and Brenda Bowles, both of Dyersburg; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Richardson, Helen Wells and Carol Pace; and two brothers, James Pace and Robert Pace.
