I was only 9 or 10 years old when i heard my mom crying non-stop on the phone.I asked my mother what was the matter she could barely tell me,your brother died i imediatly ran to my room crying and screaming why,he was supposed to come down this weekend,i was confused.He was a good citizen didn't do drugs or smoke or drink,he was training to become a state trooper.On the morning of december 10th 1993 Mark came out of a circle K with my other brother Robbie and noticed three gang members throwing milk carton's in the street he decided to tell them "hey stop i have to drive in this street to" word's were exchanged and they were going to start fighting when my Mark noticed one of them had a knife.He told robbie to get in the car but he didn't the gangmember took a swipe at him but missed then went toward robbie, Mark then pushed robbie into the car and got stabbed in the process.The knife had pierced his heart.He was still alive but fading out when the paramedics got there, they were able to keep him alive till he arrived at the hospital.He passed away but because he was so healthy the doctor's were able to revive him but it didn't last long at 21 years of age the lord took my good hearted brother out of his pain and suffering.It trips me out such a good person would give his last 5 bucks to you and be broke and say you need it more than i do,such a young healthy age life really is short.MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN TEN YEARS LATER
