Born June 6, 1945 in Gettysburg, he was the son of the late Leroy and Phyllis (Swisher) Harbaugh.
Mr. Harbaugh attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Emmitsburg, Md. He was employed by Homes by Keystone in Waynesboro for 35 years until his retirement in 2006, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beverly A. (Weikert) Harbaugh; a daughter, Roxanne Deardorff and her husband Chuck of Fairfield; a son, George C. “Butch” Harbaugh Jr. and his wife Terri of Fairfield; two grandchildren, Briana and Matthew Harbaugh; a brother, Ronald Harbaugh Sr., of Fairfield; and a sister, Donna Martin, of Fairfield.
