Mary Ellen Sprayberry, 56, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the University Medical Center. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland and 10 a.m. Friday at Riverwood Bible Church. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church with burial to follow in Lakewood South Cemetery.
Mary is survived by her husband of 35 years Harold Sprayberry of Madison and her children: Carrie and Kevin Detwiler, Matthew Sprayberry, David and Emmi Sprayberry, and her three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nell Hubbard. Mary taught art at Jackson Academy and was a beloved member of Riverwood Bible Church. Her life verse was Matt 22:37 "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind". This verse was evidenced in her life in that "her children rise up and bless her; her husband also, and he praises her." (Pv 31:28)
