This Mary Camp was Mary Polly Mead B. 26 Oct 1790 Meadville, Pennsylvania, She was the daughter of John C Mead brother of David Mead founder of Meadville, Pennsylvania. She married John Camp b. 1787 in Meadville. John Camp and Mary along with Mary's brother Asahel Mead along with his family all moved to Mason County, Illinois and show up on the 1850 Census, Asahel was recorded as Asel Mead on that 1850 Census. Asahel is my ancestor. Also the Chambers Camp buried in the same cemetery was the son of Mead Camp who was the son of Mary Polly Mead and John Camp.
